Suburban Council Championships held at S.U.N.Y.-Albany on January 31st - Summary
Ian Tapler wins the Boys 55m hurdles with a time of 8:27 Dashawn Gates also scores in the 55m hurdles (3rd) and wins his heat of 300m (6th) Boys 4X400m finish 3rd with a time of 3:43.83 - a nearly 10 second improvement (anybody have names and splits?)
Ernestine Skipper scores in both the 55m and Long Jump for the girls Karley Giles finishes 2nd in the high jump freshman Lea Cure scores in the 3000m

Division I Sectionals held at S.U.N.Y.-Albany on February 14th - Summary
Boys Dashawn Gates clocks 7.9 in the 55m hurdles for 2nd and scores in the 300m @ 37.6 The Boys 4X400m improve to 3:41.8 SR Mike Kennedy records a 42' shot put
Girls Ernestine Skipper scores in the 55m and 55m hurdles Karley Giles again finishes 2nd in the high jump with a leap of 5'2" and notches a score in the long jump

Congratulations to sophomore Dashawn Gates who places third in the boys 300m at the State Qualifer Meet held Sunday at the University of Albany and will represent Section II and Guilderland HS in the boys intersectional medley relay at the New York State Meet next Saturday at Cornell University!

Sophomore Dashawn Gates represents as Section II finishes 4th (9:14.38) in the Intersectional Medley Relay.

when I saw results on Tullyrunners.com they referred to the intersectional relay as the DMR.. I was curious about all the world records but now it all makes sense, Thanks Dandy!

It sure seems that way. What an exciting time to be a track and field fan! not to mention XC and the roads.. these next few weeks should be especially exciting with world xc, usa track,ncaa track, and Boston.
