For Justin and Seth:
Speaking of lack of 2010 indoor results; what are the plans? Is this a possible red-shirt season?

Seth is taking the Winter and Spring seasons to focus on running a strong half marathon in March and look forward to his future running career in the longer distances of 10k to Marathon.
For myself, the 2010 indoor season is opening up at Syracuse this weekend, where I'll race the 800. From there I'll travel with the team to Boston U to run the mile in their Valentine Invitational. It's one of the fastest indoor tracks in the country, so hopefully I can pop a good one there.

That makes a lot of sense for Seth. He is so close to breaking the 30 minute mark in the 10k. He should definitely test the waters at the 1/2 and full marathon distances in the future. Who knows, maybe he will give GCHS alum, Jim Sweeney '99 some competition at those crazy ultra distances somewhere down the line.
Glad to hear you will be competing soon, Justin. Gered Burns '02 has set the 2010 indoor mile bar at 4:11.46 so far this season. Boston will be a great place to try and break that barrier if BRD does not beat you to it.
Best of luck and continued success to all of our alums competing.
